Here is built to collect as little as possible, and to share none of it.

Here has no account, no login, and no user profile. We run no ads and no tracking of our own, and we don't sell or share data with anyone. The only exception is the crash and performance reporting you can turn on for all apps in your iPhone's Settings, described below.
Your practice history — the record behind the dot field on Home — is stored only on your device. It is not synced to iCloud or sent to us, and we have no way to see it or identify you from it.
The pointers themselves — the text that appears when you press and hold — are delivered through Apple's CloudKit and also bundled directly in the app, so Here works fully offline. Nothing about which pointers you receive is tied to your identity or sent back to us.
If you've opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in your iPhone's Settings, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance data with us to help fix bugs. This is controlled entirely by you, at the OS level — Here doesn't add its own tracking on top of it. If that ever changes — for instance, if we add a dedicated crash-reporting tool — we'll update this page first.
The signup on our homepage is the one place we collect anything. If you enter an address there, we store it, along with the time, the IP address the request came from, and your browser's user-agent string — the last two only as a check against automated abuse. Nothing about the app or your practice is attached to it, because the app never sends us anything to attach.
We use the address for one thing: the occasional note we send out. We don't share it, sell it, or add it to any other list. Reply to anything we send and we'll delete it — no form, no confirmation loop.
The website itself has no trackers and no advertising, and does not profile your visit. The one external request it makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typeface and will see your IP address as part of delivering it. Nothing else about your visit is recorded.
Here has no ad network, no third-party tracking SDKs, and doesn't build a profile of you or your usage for any purpose, marketing or otherwise.
Here isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — there's no mechanism in the app that would let it.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for any change that meaningfully affects what we collect, note it here plainly rather than burying it.
